often before but not

with the cold fire → Oxymoron. (: 남편이 죽었기 때문에 화자는 풀이 자라는 것에서 따뜻함이나 기쁨을 느끼지 못한다.)

that closes round me this year.

Thirtyfive years → 오랜기간을 남편과 함께 살았다. (: 감정을 절제하고 간결하게 표현한다.)

I lived with my husband.

The plumtree is white today → 자두나무에 꽃이 피었다. (: 봄날의 아름다움, 활력, 생명)

with masses of flowers.

Masses of flowers → 벚꽃으로 나무는 노랗고 빨갛게 물들었다. (: 봄날의 아름다움, 활력, 생명)

load the cherry branches

but the grief in my heart → 내면의 슬픔이 봄의 기쁨과 아름다움보다 더 크다.

I feel that I would like → 화자는 남편이 그립기 때문에 자살하고 싶다고 설명한다.
